In 2017, our founder became the youngest woman and person of color to run for office in the state of Georgia! She lost by less than 24 votes.

Her age and experience were questioned, but thousands saw themself in her. Young voters and those ready for change saw that she was capable of leading the charge to advocate for justice-centered policies!

We have since been on a mission to mobilize young people like her - teaching them they are QUALIFIED to lead.
